The UN Guiding Principles Reporting Framework (UNGPRF) was launched in 2015 and is the world’s first comprehensive guidance for companies to report on human rights issues in line with their responsibility to respect human rights.

The UNGPRF has been developed through the Human Rights Reporting and Assurance Framework Initiative (RAFI), which is co-facilitated by Shift and Mazars.

AP2 supports the framework which provides a set of questions, to which any company should strive to have answers in order to know and show that it is meeting its responsibility to respect human rights in practice. This responsibility is set out in the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs).

During 2019, AP2 published its first Human Rights Report in accordance with the UNGPRF. The second report was published 2021.
