It is through transparency and openness that investors can have an informed understanding of a company’s situation, thus providing the basis for a correct assessment of its value.
In line with EU Directives, the Fund also deems it important that companies report on their environmental, social and personnel issues, as well as issues related to human rights and bribery, in their annual reports. Through such transparency and reporting, investors can have a better understanding of the risk and return profiles of the companies in question.

An example of such an initiative is the PRI Guidance for Responsible Investment in Farmland. Also, together with the venture capital industries in 11 countries, the Fund has been involved in developing a framework which investors can use in their reporting requirements. AP2 has included these issues in their evaluations of private equity funds.

The Fund believes that it is important to report on its activities and sustainability initiatives in a transparent and comprehensible manner.
