Transparency/reporting
It is essential for a well functioning financial market that the information given to shareholders and other stakeholders is solid. It is through transparency and openness that investors can have an informed understanding of a company’s situation, thus providing the basis for a correct assessment of its value.
In line with EU Directives, the Fund also deems it important that companies report on their environmental, social and personnel issues, as well as issues related to human rights and bribery, in their annual reports. Through such transparency and reporting, investors can have a better understanding of the risk and return profiles of the companies in question.
For several years, the Fund has initiated and supported projects which aim to enhance transparency and reporting. An example of such an initiative is the PRI Guidance for Responsible Investment in Farmland. Also, together with the venture capital industries in 11 countries, the Fund has been involved in developing a framework which investors can use in their reporting requirements. AP2 has included these issues in their evaluations of private equity funds.

The Fund believes that it is important to report on its activities and sustainability initiatives in a transparent and comprehensible manner. In addition to the Fund’s Annual and Sustainability Report and the website, the Fund’s sustainability work is also presented in the PRI’s survey, which is available on PRI’s and through the Fund’s websites.
